Why Employers Like Liberal Arts Grads

MSN has a good article on how liberal arts grads can land good jobs and rewarding careers because of their ability to write well. The article points out that technical degrees will have higher starting salaries, but those who can write can move ahead in short order. The same article encourages these liberal arts grads to develop some "number sense".

Of course, the reverse is true for technical graduates. Their mathematical ability can get them started, but to get ahead of their peers they need to develop communication skill.
