SEC Subpoenas Ken Lay Enron Documents

Monday September 29, 2003
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) today announced that it has asked a court to force former Enron CEO Kenneth Lay to produce documents related to the alledged fraudulent activites that occurred at the company during his tenure. Lay has refused to comply with a previous request from the SEC. Observers see this action as a sign that the SEC investigation is continuing.
