From the article: Why Men Earn More
Why, forty years after the Federal Equal pay Act, are hard-working women still paid less than the guys on the job? Warren Farrell's book "Why Men Earn More: The Startling Truth Behind the Pay Gap-and What Women Can Do About It" suggests that the pay gap between men and women is not the result of rampant discrimination, but rather because of career choices women (and men) make.
I like this
- So the conclusion is basicly this: Men make choices based purely on the money factor and therefor their choices tend to get them lots of money. Women choose a balance between money/time/etc and therefor their choices tend to get them less money, but more other things instead. i.e. men are to stupid to consider two things at once. women are not ~

Why???
- This is stunning how over 45 years after Kennedy signed the Equal Pay Act that we still face discrimination in the workforce. While many of us spend years educating ourselves to receive a better pay, we still have to face preferential values and discrimination ideals in race, ethnicity, sex, gender (4 factors that we have very little control in chosing), marital status and parenthood.
