How can I suggest a site for review and possible inclusion?
Easy! Just send me an email.Your email should include the URL (web address) for the page or pages within a site that you consider appropriate; your relationship to the page (did you make it, work for that company, or just find it on the web); why you think it's especially good; and which of my categories it belongs in. How do you decide what to include?
I link to pages, within sites, that are content rich. My aim is to make useful information easier to find.I do not normally link to an entire site. I link to pages that contain information of value to my readers, not to pages that say "call us and we'll send (or sell) you good stuff". I do not link to pages that are 'electronic billboards' - pages that companies post to announce their existence on the web. If the page has no content of value to my readers I don't link to it.
Since many of my readers are on slower modems, page loading speed is an issue. Page content is more important that appearance. Graphics often slow down the loading of a page. If your server or your ISP is slow it may make your page load too slowly. If your site is really good, I will link to it. If it is marginal, but it is slow, I may not.
How will I know if you link to a page on my site?
When I link to a page that has been recommended to me by the site owner, I email that person my congratulations on the caliber of their site/page. I include a graphic they can put on their page, if they choose, to link to the page on my site where their page is highlighted.What if my page isn't included?
When your site changes, or you add new material to a listed site, please send me another email and tell me about the changes. I will be happy to revisit the suggested page(s).Thank you for your interest in my site. I hope I will be able to link to yours.
