New Year's resolutions are okay - in a showy sort of way. However, they are not the best way for you to improve in the coming year. For that you need New Year's Goals. Resolutions are high-level; "I want to lose weight this year." Goals are specific and can be measured; "I will exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes every day in order to lose 20 pounds during this year." It's the same for your business and your career. Read New Year's Resolutions vs. New Year's Goals for more details and a plan you can implement.
