Top US Business Schools

Thursday September 21, 2006
WSJ is out with its annual ranking of top US Business schools. The national ranking of the schools has the University of Michigan at the top, followed by Dartmouth and Carnegie Mellon. The factors that contribute to these schools ranking higher than some with a better academic reputation are their graduates' interpersonal skills, ethics, and problem-solving skills. Graduates of some of the "big name" programs were marked down for their arrogance and their schools for less customer service.

Once again, we see the ability to function effectively as part of a team ranks higher than individual skill. As you develop the teamwork skills of your team, don't forget to work on your own. It will help you advance your own career.
