Women Business Owners Want More Capital

Saturday September 20, 2003
According to the just released survey results from the US Department of Labor and Small Business Administration (SBA), access to capital and the poor economy were the top issues facing women business owners. Their biggest problems were providing health care and retirement plans for their employees. Cost was cited as the main reason more did not offer either benefit. Their top goals were increasing their client base and profits.

The full survey results are available on the National Women’s Business Council site.
