Productivity Up Again; Hiring Not

Edmund Andrews reports in the NY Times that productivity of workers in the US increased during the second quarter at annual rate of 5.7 percent. Meanwhile, there has been no increase in the number of jobs created. This is causing concern about a jobless recovery, which would be short-lived. Should we be worried?
